Under the esteemed patronage of Shri Guru Hargobind Ujagar Hari Trust and the able guidance
of Principal Dr. Satinder Kaur, Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd organized a lively
and memorable Farewell Fiesta on April 23, 2026, to bid a heartfelt adieu to the outgoing
students. The programme commenced with a warm floral welcome extended to the Principal,
Dr. Satinder Kaur by students and faculty members. The event beautifully blended emotions
with entertainment as students shared their cherished memories through soulful poems,
melodious songs and expressive shayari reflecting their journey in college. The cultural
segment showcased captivating performances, including a graceful Rajasthani dance, musical
presentations and energetic group dances that enthralled the audience. To add more enthusiasm,
a variety of engaging activities such as fun games, an elegant ramp walk and an interactive
question-answer round were organized, making the celebration vibrant and enjoyable. These
segments were judged by an esteemed panel comprising Dr. Puneet Wadhwa, Prof. Hardeep
Kaur, Dr. Amandeep Kaur and Prof. Harwinder Kaur. The highlight of the event was the
conferring of farewell titles upon deserving students. Manmehakdeep Kaur (BA-III) was
crowned Miss Farewell, Mallika (BA B.Ed-IV) was declared the First Runner-Up and
Harmandeep Kaur (BA-III) secured the position of Second Runner-Up. Adding an emotional
touch, Ms. Manmehakdeep Kaur of BA-III delivered a heartfelt farewell speech on behalf of the
graduating students, expressing gratitude towards the institution and faculty. As a token of love
and remembrance, all outgoing students were presented with mementos and later captured
memorable moments with their teachers. Principal Dr. Satinder Kaur addressed the gathering
with inspiring words, encouraging students to carry forward the values and knowledge gained
during their academic journey and extended her best wishes for their bright future. The
programme was gracefully compered by Dr. Inderjit Kaur, with enthusiastic support from Ms.
Gomsi of B.Com II. The occasion beautifully captured the spirit of gratitude and new
beginnings, leaving everyone with memories to treasure for a lifetime.
