Under the aegis of Shri Guru Hargobind Ujjagar Hari Trust and the able guidance
of Principal Dr. Satinder Kaur, Khalsa College for Sidhwan Khurd, a solemn
prayer gathering was organised at the campus Gurdwara Sahib to pay tribute to the
devotees who lost their lives in the recent tragic boat accident in Vrindavan. The
college organized a collective recitation of Sri Japji Sahib, Sri Chaupai Sahib and
Anand Sahib, followed by an Ardas for the departed souls. Around 25 devotees
lost their lives when a boat carrying pilgrims capsized, with many of the victims
belonging to the Jagraon region. The Principal, along with faculty and students,
gathered to pray for the eternal peace of the departed souls. Addressing the
students, Principal Dr, Satinder Kaur expressed deep sorrow over the irreparable
loss and urged everyone to pray for courage and resilience for the bereaved
families. The ceremony concluded with heartfelt prayers seeking divine blessings
and a place at the feet of the Almighty for the departed devotees.
