Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd, a renowned center of women’s education, is always known for nurturing the overall development and creative abilities of its students. On 15 March 2026, at Tarn Taran Sahib, during the Istri Kavi Darbar organized by Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle, five students from the college showcased their talent with remarkable excellence. On this occasion, Manpreet Kaur (B.A. Part III), Asha Rani, Prabhjot Kaur, Anshdeep Kaur, and Gagandeep Kaur (B.A. Part II) presented impressive self-composed poems on various themes. Their compositions were based on the life of Baba Buddha Ji, moral values, and social issues. At the end of the event, the students were honored with certificates, trophies, and gifts. Teacher-in-charge Dr. Geetanjali Arora motivated the students and played a significant role in polishing their creative skills and preparing them for this platform. Principal of the college, Dr. Satinder Kaur, expressed her happiness and pride over the achievement of the students.
