Under the guidance of Shri Guru Hargobind Ujjagar Hari Trust and the unwavering support of Principal Dr. Satinder Kaur, the third day of the Faculty Development Program was successfully held on 29 May, 2025 focusing on the theme “Effective Teaching-Learning Strategies”. The event was held as part of the ongoing celebrations of the 75 glorious years of academic excellence. The resource person for the session was Dr. Pargat Singh Garcha, Principal of GHG Khalsa College of Education, Gurusar Sudhar. The session began with a warm welcome of the resource person by Vice Principal Dr. Navdip Kaur and senior faculty members. In his address, Dr. Garcha shed light on various contemporary teaching methodologies. He spoke about blended modes of instruction, flipped classroom models and the relevance of Education 4.0. Emphasizing the role of AI tools in enhancing teaching-learning processes, he also highlighted the significance of cultivating a positive attitude among educators to adapt to the changing educational landscape. A memento and a sapling were presented to the resource person as a token of appreciation and a symbol of growth and sustainability. Stage proceedings were conducted by Dr. Paramjit Kaur and the session concluded with a vote of thanks by IQAC coordinator Prof. Roopa Kaur Rai who acknowledged the resource person for his insightful and motivating session. The session inspired educators to embrace technological advancements and innovative pedagogies, reaffirming their commitment to student-centric and quality education.
