Under the able guidance of Dr. Amandeep Kaur, Principal (Addl. Charge), IQAC and Career Counselling Cell of Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd organized a lecture on “ Career Guidance” on March 27, 2024. Mr. Abhilesh Kumar, Branch Manager and Career Counseling Department Authority and his team from Mahendras’ Institute Ludhiana were the resource persons and enlightened the students on the myriad avenues available for them and guided them on how to plan their professional life. Prof. Roopa Kaur Rai Coordinator IQAC, welcomed the guests. Saplings were presented to greet them. S. Karanveer Singh gave information on the career options available after graduation and shared strategies of effective time management, optimal use of internet sources and smart work for reaching desired goals. Mr. Aman Kumar told about the methods to be applied in light of the syllabi and pattern of various competitive exams for solving mathematical and reasoning questions. Mr. Abhilesh Kumar addressed the students and elaborated upon the available opportunities of employment in the government sector, eligibility conditions and facilities offered in these jobs. The resource persons were felicitated with mementos. Prof. Harwinder Kaur proposed formal vote of thanks.
